How to Assemble and Mount a Single-Sided Post Mounted Sign Panel

Ashby Trade Sign Supplies’ post-mountable signs are manufactured for long-lasting, secure installation. Follow the steps below to ensure your sign is correctly mounted.

Tools & Parts Required

• Sign panel with pre-fitted channel rails

• Posts (round posts or square posts)

• Post clips

• Square head bolts (included with any clips purchase)

• Post caps or post finials

• Spanner or socket wrench

Note: Steel baseplates are recommended when using round posts to prevent rotation.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Install the Posts

Dig suitable holes for your posts in the required positions.

Set the posts securely in concrete to the correct depth and alignment.

Allow concrete to cure before proceeding.

2. Fit Caps or Finials

Place your chosen caps or finials onto the tops of the posts for a neat finish.

3. Prepare the Fixings

Slide square head bolts into the channel rail on the back of the sign panel.

For a single-bolt clip - Insert the 'foot' of the clip into the channel rail, as the with the bolt/s. This 'foot' will enable the clip to wrap around the post.

For a double-bolt clip - Offer up the clip and use the hole positions to align the bolts.

4. Mount the Panel

Place the sign panel against the posts at the desired height.

Wrap the post clips around the posts and align with the bolts in the channel rail.

Fit the spacers and nuts, then tighten securely using a spanner or socket wrench.

5. Final Check

Ensure the panel is level, secure, and evenly spaced between posts.

Once tightened, the installation is complete.

Your single-sided post mounted sign is now ready for use.
