K’Nect is engineered to be as light as possible for easy on-site handling and reduced shipping costs, without compromising on durability. This lightweight construction makes it the ideal choice for mounting onto modern dry-wall where heavy fabricated signs would be unsuitable.
There are 3 different edgings available to connect the directory slats to the wall/substrate:
Square Edge Strip: This is an aluminium L-shape profile where clips are installed with end caps either end.
Bevel Edge Strip: This is an aluminium P-shape profile where clips are installed with end caps either end.
Plastic Edge Strip: These is a Black Plastic P-shape profiles pre-set to plank sizes of 60, 90, 120, 150, 180 & 210mm.
The click-lock mechanism allows slats to be swapped out in seconds, making it significantly faster to update than signs requiring disassembly or removal from substrate.
The K'Nect system can also use Divider Strips (Horizontal) or Central Divider Strips (Vertical) which are available to visually separate certain parts of the directory signage for easier, improved wayfinding legibility.
