Responding To Growth With Internal Promotions
Ashby™ has moved to address an upturn in demand for its new services and products by promoting Norbert Bronhard and Tymoteusz Dudzinski to become supervisors
As supervisors, Bronhard and Dudzinski will work with production manager Gareth Jones on the new product ranges, which include a slimline Troughlight system, a new internal slatted wayfinding system, and a series of bitesize ‘build it yourself’ brochures.
Ashby Trade Sign Supplies will add three new major ranges to its portfolio this year. Ashby’s new slimline trough light system can produce over 1000 lumens per metre, while the company says its ‘build it yourself’ brochures allow sign-makers to purchase Ashby products in component form.
“Norbert Bronhard and Tymoteusz Dudzinski give us an added dimension in terms of quality control and communication between sales and production,” explains Jones, who goes on to say: “It also means that we can better organise our factory processes and further decrease our error percentage.”
In their new roles as supervisors at the firm, both Bronhard and Dudzinski will assume responsibility for a ‘cell’ within the Ashby factory, in addition to a certain area of production.
In a statement confirming the appointments, Ashby says Bronhard and Dudzinski were selected for the new roles due to their ‘extensive experience’ across all aspects of production, as well as the ‘energy and enthusiasm’ that they bring to the factory.
The statement adds: “What does this mean for customers? Well, for a start, decreasing an already phenomenally low error rate, a greater range of usable, saleable products and the ability to significantly increase margin when buying Ashby Products in component form. The wit and charm of a sign-maker is more often than not the reason a sign business is successful. Sign-makers, however, are being squeezed harder than ever and every opportunity to up-sell and increase margin has to be taken.”
“Part of this, of course, is to do with the range of products available and being able to peak the end user’s interest and wallet—innovative and attractive, yet cost effective, systems can be the difference between making a sale and not.
“Trade suppliers are now recognising this to a degree that the sign industry hasn’t yet seen, and companies such as Ashby Trade Sign Supplies, in addition to its already huge range of products, will this year strengthen its offering.”
