Factory Applied Digital Print

Specifying your signs with factory applied digital printing streamlines your workflow and saves you time and money.

Ashby's purpose-built clean room houses two large format printers and specialist, expert staff ensure prints are of the highest quality - whether as a stand alone product or applied to another Ashby system.

Ashby stocks a wide range of substrates and uses high-quality solvent inks only, to give a fade resistant, durable finish. Digital print is an excellent alternative to cut vinyl and can be significantly more cost-effective where complex logos, images and colours are involved.

Artwork & File types

We manufacture ‘Ready Made’ signage from your supplied digital artwork. To ensure the highest quality reproduction of your artwork, and to achieve the shortest delivery times, please read the following guidance notes. Our graphics department is equipped to take artwork produced on Windows PC format files, including Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Xara, Adobe and InDesign. There are two main file types used for producing sign graphics. For vector files (.ai .eps .pdf) please ensure all text is converted to curves/paths. If you have used a font on your artwork that is not converted to curves and we don't have it, the font will automatically be changed by our drawing program. For image files please ensure they are high quality and with at least a 5mm bleed for printing purposes.
